I loved the tech...

The multi-POV structure seamlessly incorporated intertwined stories, keeping the reader a step ahead of the characters. Along with quickening the narrative's pacing, the omniscient view helped me feel more involved in the events—rather than being trapped within Ayden's minimal knowledge.

...This book was fast paced and brilliantly written...

...Felix connects the two genres seamlessly and I loved reading about Nele and her world of using cyber-space to help people who are in trouble and to train them to help others alongside her. I thought that the concept was fantastic and showcased how good Felix is as a writer... I can’t wait to carry on reading this series as I think it’s going to be very interesting to see how Ayden uses his talents to help people and how the world of the ‘cyber talents’ grow... Ayden’s Choice is a superb book that I thoroughly recommend; it’s a type of book that I rarely see in the young adult genre and I think Sam Felix is an author that we all need to keep our eye on as he is showing such amazing promise ...

...this novel is different, fresh, and altogether new.

...This short story shows the struggle that Ayden goes through in trying to make the right decision and how his choices effect those he holds most dear to him...He really brings to the fore the absolute control that can be garnered by people who are capable of these tasks and how it can drastically alter the course of someone’s life. Though it doesn’t really go too in-depth into the technical side of the science, it gives you a good idea of what is taking place and how they accomplish it whilst also showing that there are people of all races, ages, and genders capable of this. (thereadinglodge, Book Blog)

Now, if that isn't the sign of a good book...

..Ayden's Choice isn't a book I'd have picked for myself, but I've learnt from this that sometimes I need to step outside of my comfort zone. 'Cos amazing things can happen when you do. I went into Ayden's Choice with no expectations, and I came out reeling. I felt like I'd been through the emotional wringer with this book, but I enjoyed reading every page. I loved joining Ayden on his journey out of an awful situation, and I'm crossing all of my fingers and toes for a sequel! Now, if that isn't the sign of a good book, I don't know what is!.... Immediately, readers will sense the danger...

...I believe that this tale could be a new classic. It contains themes that everyone should be aware of but is set in an entertaining world of fiction.... Baited, lured, and hooked. Interesting scenes that come to life. Characters like Ayden are the kind readers will want to meet. Intense plot with great dialogue. The action inside made this a quick read. I enjoyed reading this tale. For fans of technology and action, then this is definitely one I highly recommend. Overall, I recommend Ayden’s Choice to readers.... (Danielle Urban, Author)

Ayden's Choice - The start of a new tech-savvy series shows potential for the future

...The first book of the series has an intriguing story line that will keep readers wanting more with each turn of the page. The various points of view of different characters as well as the excellent use of dialog will keep readers intrigued by what each character will do, not to mention the mystery behind the series’ namesake, Nele, is introduced, but the character raises questions that will make readers want to know more about her. What will future stories contain? There is no limit.... (Alicia Smock, Book Critic)
